Have a look at these pictures and photos of me and my friends ‘n’ family ‘n’ stuff.
Here it is, my interpretation of the "Great American Songbook" (I like to call it the "Great 20th Century Songbook"), including works by Harold Arlen, Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, Johnny Mercer, and other less-well-known song writers of the Tin Pan Alley jazz-pop genre. You'll also find an assortment ranging from cowboy ballads, Hawaiian-style songs, R&B, folk, show tunes—a sampling of the kinds of music I grew up listening to. I make these recordings in my home studio using a Macintosh-based audio workstation and post them here, warts and all. For most of the tunes, I'll sing and play a ukulele live, then overdub occasional whistling, scatting, sound FX, or percussion.
I hope you come by to visit regularly. Enjoy!
